Description: This is an administrative position within a Structural Engineering firm. Tasks will be related to Architectural and Engineering projects. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our office.
Qualifications:
Residence within 50 km of office location preferred
Proficient in QuickBooks
Skilled in data entry, filing, and maintaining organizational systems
Experienced in providing excellent customer service and phone etiquette
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous administrative experience and strong attention to detail
Bookkeeping/accounting experience is an asset

Primary Duties:
-Invoicing and duties in relation to invoicing using QuickBooks software.
-Data entry, filing, and bookkeeping.
-Answering & fielding phone calls and messages. Manage multi-line communication systems and provide exceptional customer service.
-Other administrative tasks: filing, some cleaning, organizing.
-Creating new projects and inputting necessary information.
-Submitting & managing permits at Municipalities.
-Document drafting: proposals, sign-off letters etc.
-Work collaboratively with team members and clients to ensure accuracy of work.
-Corresponding with clients and employees regarding ongoing projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education: Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (required)
Location: Port Carling, ON (preferred)
